HW RJ 3.1-3.1 due Monday TBT p.108-122
We are talking about how papa and rudy showed their friendship to liesel. Papa shows his friendship by comforting her when she had nightmares and by teaching her how to spell and write. Rudy shows his friendship by trying to kiss her and by throwing a snowball at her. Kameron still doesn't like Mama. Now we start our second part of notes. now we are discussing about other teachers and how Nakada an Oakes have problems with each other. Quinn did the 2 minute warning since Sparky wasn't here.

Well, I got picked, but I will not be here tomorrow (TopSail) so I will be presenting on Friday unless I am replaced as presenter of my BLOG.
Sebastian, sorry, but you're next.
We are doing something with our portfolios now.
The school play has been confirmed for February 7th and 8th. Until then, for those absent folks who missed the announcements, the quad is off-limits.
Now, after a reminder that early missed assignments can wreck your grade, we return our portfolio.
A visitor arrives with our individual graduation plan.
Correction, a letter about it.
No, I think it's the first one.
Make that, our grades and a space for us to fill in our plan.
Anyway, you get the idea.
Now we get to The Book Thief.
It's one of her favorite parts.
WWII starts, so Death is busy.
Liesel is moved up to her year in class, but her reading is still poor, and she often gets "a good hiding."
She gets up for a reading test, when she balks, recites from The Gravedigger's Handbook, and gets caught.
She gets teased by another student, who she beats to a pulp. Apparently, Ms. Nakada likes fictional fighting. When caught, she is given "the mother of all Watschens," or hiding, or beating.
Later, Liesel breaks down, and Rudy comforts her.
That is the end of Part One.
Four minute warning.
Time for Cornell Notes :^)

Right now we're writing notes about The Book Thief and also talking about the winter Olympics. We're talking about the Hitler games, Jesse Owens wins 4 gold medals in the games but Hitler doesn't shake his hand. Rudy covers himself in charcoal and runs the track to honor Jesse Owens, Rudy's dad is funny on this page but he's a Nazi in order to help his family. Rudy is very curious though and he doesn't really understand racism. Liesel pees in the bed and Papa finds the book she stole. There are only 10 minutes left so I'm done.

So we start off the day with some TBT notes, OMG I'm so confused...... WHO IS DEATH.
The book is kind of creapy, I can just image this book as a movie being some really weriod scary movie that nobody would watch.NOOOOOO Rosa is rubbing off on Liesel. I can't stand Rosa..... idk who I dislike more Rosa or Mike D'antoiny. Wow, I think they based Rudy off of me, lol jk.We just had a lil convo about snow and the weather back east.....me and -16 degress nah nah nah I'll just stay in the house. Can I ask y'all something...... Am I the only one who thinks that I'm awesome? That girl thinks I don't have game hahahah she's got jokes... look Sebastian doesn't have a mouth. I know Ms. Nakada is loving my great grammar.
