It's finally my turn to do the blog, yay! (sarcasm) I am the last person to go and then I think we start over. Anyways, right now Ms. Nakada has made everyone turn the tables around so that we can start our Socratic Seminar. I heard her asking some people why they hadn't filled in their sheet thingy, oops!
There gonna begin the Seminar now so I better listen, or what's the point of this blog. The first question is "Are things rough all over?" Sparky just said that yes everyones life is rough, even the Socs, and Gracie agreed. Gosh this is hard to follow, but I'm trying so excuse me if I get your name or what you said wrong. Ms. Nakada just said that Ponyboy will stay gold, but not in the way that the guy who wrote 'Nothing Gold Can Stay' meant. Now they are talking about who-in their opinion-is gold. Rose Upton said that her little cousin is gold because even the slightest thing makes him happy. It sounds to me that the same people are talking. Shouldn't someone else have a turn? The first group has now 3 minutes, and then the outsiders (get it?!) will discuss the same questions. I didn't catch the last bit but someone was talking about fighting with their sisters or something. Sorry about that :-|

The next group is starting, and this time I'm going to try real hard to listen properly. Btw I'm so glad I'm not in the Seminar because I hate talking in front of a class full of people (oh man I'm gonna have to read this blog to them! eek!) Sorry, back to the seminar! Maryam (is that how you spell it?) said she didn't feel that Johnny's character was developed. Sabrina says that she didn't like the fact that the movie didn't show the court scene, which is obviously a very important part. A girl (no idea what her name is, sorry) said that there aren't any movies that remain completely faithful to the books because the film directors don't have unlimited amounts of time, so they have to cut out parts. Sebastian asks the class, "Who do you think is truly gold?" Jack says that no one is truly gold, but some people are very close. You have to love who you are, and what you do. Personally I think that everyone is gold, but in their own way, because there is no actual definition of a person being gold. Rachel said that toddlers are gold because they haven't seen the bad side of the world. Sweet. Someone asked "Do you think you're gold?" No one said yes, and meant it.

The bells about to ring so imma go now, ciao :)
