Socratic Seminar Prep
Writers workshop
HW: RJ 8.4 15-20 pages
It's finally my turn to blog today! We are starting by copying the questions for our first socratic seminar on to a loose piece of paper. We will turn it in tomorrow with answers and text evidence.
Q#1: Are things rough all over?
Q#2: Is the movie faithful to the book?
Q#3: Will Pony stay gold?
Q#4: Who do you think is truly gold?
Your question
On the back of the paper we are writing things that we will fill out during the seminar.
- a quote that deepened your understanding
- a quote that is a different stance than your own
- Something I said
- + about seminar
- - about seminar
Now we are doing a writer's workshop. People are either finishing and printing their response to The Outsiders essay or answering the questions we just wrote for the socratic seminar. I think Ponyboy will not stay gold. Do you think he will? Comment your answer. I have no picture, but I wrote the notes so it's okay. We have only a few minutes left so I should pack up. Bye!
I like your blog and that you wrote all the notes down. I think there is still someone left to do the blog. Also i think Ponyboy will stay gold.
