Analyzing themes in literature
writer's workshop
HW: RJ 9.3 15-20 pages
Hey. So I'm back again. Thanks to Curtis -.- I gotchu.
Today we start off by writing notes in "Analyzing themes in literature." I can't spell that word so I asked Curtis >.<. Ms. Nakada asks what a theme is. Its an overarching idea or lesson. For an example, in The Outsiders, things are rough all over is considered a theme. Or the theme "Nothing Gold Can Stay"
I left my project in Hastings office! It's the only thing I did yesterday (you welcome Ms. Nakada). Ms. Nakada won't be here tomorrow so guess what? SUBS. It's because she has to go to training. -.- Tomorrow we'll be writing our second letter home.
Right now we're beginning writer's workshop to finish our paragraphs and essays and all the stuff related to that. I finished my paragraph and essay so I'm going to continue you reading my book The Devil's Arithmetic. Ms. Nakada's going around checking our binders and notebooks to see if we filled them out.
Sparky just gave the 9 minute warning to me. Today's going by so fast. But I can't wait for 6th period P.E.: best class of the day (Love you Ms. Nakada).
3 minutes left so time to pack up. So yeah see you next time blog. So long.
