Okay so I'm back once again, but today is a little different. Erika, my lovely long-haired friend, has chosen me to do The Blog. But since on Tuesday we did the Smarter Balance practice test for our practice test, I have to summarize what happened on Tuesday and today/ yesterday.
Basically we met in the PC Lab and got a feel for the kind of things that we'll be asked to do on this test.
I really disagree with this type of testing, but at least this is just a practice and won't necessarily count.
Tuesday was a short day so the period went by pretty fast.

Citing Credible Sources
Wednesday. We have had a slight discussion about today being Watermelon Wednesday, and tomorrow being Terriaki Chicken Thursday.
Anyway, Ms. Nakada is trying to get the projector to play Lupita's speech on beauty. Lupita explains that she wished to become lighter throughout her life. She wished to God that He would make her skin lighter.
"You can't eat beauty." This is what Lupita's mother told her.
"There is no shade in that beauty." There is no color to beauty, Quinn states.
Beauty comes from within, it is about who you are as an individual.
The class falls pretty silent. Again, all of the pens and pencils moving, and papers swishing.
The students' assignment is to write I.C.E. on Lupita Nyong'o's speech. Ms. Nakada is even doing her own.
I probably should to.
Chitter chatter slowly erupts.
Students are working on their The Book Thief summaries.
Now we've moved on to Citing Credible Sources on page 38 of our English notebooks.
Sparky just gave us the 2 minute warning.
