So, here I am, thanks to Jack. Here I go. First we start off by passing up our reading journals. Then Ms. Nakada tells us about our STAR Tests. Today isn't as busy as other days which is great on my end. But now Ms. Nakada's checking our reading journals. We reached the end of our book. Honestly, it was a good book but I didn't enjoy the end. Now the class is doing reader's workshop, which is basically reading. The book I'm reading now is "The Uglies".
The class is so quiet, so I don't know what to say. I'm thinking about how I'm gonna have to read this to the class.
Now we're starting our notes on "The Outsiders" chapter 10 and 11. What happens here is as Pony's walking home he gets a ride from a stranger. He's in denial that Johnny's dead. When he gets home he tells the gang that Johnny's dead, then Darry gets a call from Dally telling him that the cops are after him. The police shoot and kill Dally, but it seems as if that's what he wanted. Pony then blacks out. When he wakes up, he's very confused. But he begins to remember but isn't coping well.
For chapter 11, while having to lay in bed all week, Pony finds a picture of Bob in one of Soda's old yearbook. Randy comes to visit.
